Arun is from Salem India where he worked as an assistant director for an Indian television series. He moved to the United States and began studying film as a graduate student at Chapman University. His thesis film “Eyes of God” is due for release in 2005. Arun was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2004 Chapman Student Filmmaker Awards, and most recently is a nominee for the American Society of Cinematographers Charles B. Lang Heritage award in the 19th annual ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Cinematography 2005. Arun was also awarded the 2004 Fotokem Grant for his thesis film.
