Jeremy is from Bolinas, California.  An inspired artist form an early age, Jeremy wrote and illustrated his first book at the age of four, and was honored with the distinguished 1st Place Rockefeller Fine Art Award at age five.   Jeremy discovered filmmaking in elementary school, creating stop motion animation with his father’s video camera and his mother’s modeling clay.   In High School Jeremy began playing and producing music, establishing a recording studio where he produced and recorded local artists.  He continued recording music through college, as well as producing and hosting a weekly radio show at the university’s local broadcasting station.  Jeremy began studying Japanese and training Aikido, eventually becoming an instructor at Sonoma State, as well as the Aikido school where he studied.  Jeremy graduated from Sonoma State University with a double major in English Literature and Communications, and a minor in Music.  In 2001, Jeremy took an extend trip to Japan where he participated in an intensive apprenticeship at the Iwama school.  Journal entries, short stories and various writings from his travels became the final inspiration for pursuing filmmaking.  “John Doe and the Anti” is Jeremy’s first film.
