Rick was born in London, and now lives in the southwest city of Bristol, UK. He is a student of the Royal Collage of Music in London and widely recognized as one of the new generation Blues guitar players. He is renowned for his authentic acoustic styles, and mastery of the slide guitar, commonly compared with early Ry Cooder and Bert Jansch. He is an experienced performer and teacher, co-director of AcousticGuitarWorkshop.com and coordinator of The Acoustic Alternative at the QEH Theatre. Rick’s performances have taken him to prime time TV, festivals, Arts Centres and theatres throughout the UK and on tour to Europe, USA, Scandinavia and Greek Islands.
